PAE Design & Facility Management

The Brief

PDFM (formerly PAE Design & Facility Management) needed a modern corporate website that clearly communicated who they are, what they do, and why they are trusted as an engineering and facility management partner. The goal was to present the company’s services and technical strengths in a clear, structured way for both clients and prospective employees.

Netwise was engaged to design and build a bilingual website that would serve both as a marketing platform for commercial clients and a recruitment tool for future talent. The focus was on clarity: well-structured services, credible technical messaging, and a CMS that PDFM’s internal team could use with confidence.

Our Audience

The site was designed for two primary audiences: commercial and institutional clients seeking a reliable engineering and facility management partner, and professionals considering a career with PDFM.

Both audiences needed quick access to credible information such as services, project experience, certifications, and company values, all presented in a clear, bilingual structure.

The Process

The project began with discovery discussions with key members of the PDFM team, helping Netwise understand business priorities, content structure, and the level of technical detail that needed to be communicated.

Based on this input, we defined a clear information architecture, including a visual sitemap, and produced wireframes and designs for the site’s core pages. These included the homepage, service overview pages, case study pages, news listing pages, company information pages, a contact form, and a recruitment page.

The website was built on WordPress with a fully bilingual structure, enabling PDFM’s internal team to manage and update content over time. For recruitment, job openings are displayed on the site via an embedded Recruit integration, with applications handled on the external platform.

Throughout the process, decisions were guided by the updated brand direction and a strong focus on usability and clarity, ensuring information is easy to find and understand across both languages.

Booking Widget

We created an always-on booking widget in the footer which can be either docked or left deployed as you like. It allows for one-click access anywhere in the website, on desktop, tablet, or smartphone, to the room and restaurant booking functions, in addition to Club InterContinental content.

The smartphone experience is much the same, though we elected to use the entire screen for the booking forms. Tabs make it easy to switch between Room and Table reservations. Phone inquiries are merely a tap away.

In the end we were able to create an exceptionally well-optimized responsive design that looks and works great pretty much everywhere. Controls are easily accessible, pages load quickly, and global navigation elements are docked neatly out of the way when scrolling down in read mode. And of course it’s fully multilingual.

The Result

The launched website provides PDFM with a clear, credible online presence that supports both recruitment and business development. Services and technical strengths are now easy to understand, supported by clearly structured content that presents PDFM’s capabilities in a straightforward way.

The recruitment section establishes a solid foundation for hiring, with job listings and application flows designed to scale over time. With a maintainable bilingual CMS in place, PDFM’s internal team is equipped to keep the site accurate, current, and aligned with the company’s evolving goals.

I like to thank you and your team for creating the excellent website. It all looks very promising for us to be the tool of business growth.
