Meet the Team
Michael Rollins
Director
American-born Internet systems architect and all-around technologist, currently directs activities at Netwise.
Unusually fluent Japanese, hopelessly deteriorating English. Enjoys good music, wine, food and... long sunset walks on the beach.
Also maintains a sporadically-updated blog.
Joachim Niemetz
Creative Director
Interface designer extraordinaire, Joe joined the company in 2007 and now looks after the creative face of the company while driving the rest us mad with (German) over attention to detail and complaints about Japan's meager food portions.
Valentin Triponez
Web Designer
Jack-of-all-trades who can create stylistically rich and pixel perfect web content from concept all the way through to deployment. Swiss French (native), English (close) and Japanese (getting there) all spoken. Taller than you.
Neil Caipang
Web Developer
Traded paradise and the beaches of Cebu for the streets of Tokyo and the chance to help build the web. Lives in an acronym-infested world millimeters removed from purr and rush of racing electrons. Closet cross dresser.
Rie Ogata
Office Manager
Kumamoto-native who maintains order amid the chaos found in a Shibuya-based agency like Netwise.
The go-to person when there are big questions in need of ready answers.
Eriko Nagano
Project Coordinator
The "face" of the operation in charge of managing clients, projects and expectations all around. Trained in ballet from childhood and a techno music fiend, she can outdance you and all your friends put together. Australian-accented English the cherry on top.
